This month, Berlin celebrates the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. Nike will recognize this event (as well as its own two-decade anniversary of this particular shoe) with this version of the Air Pegasus. The Air Pegasus ‘89 “Berlin” comes with a black/grey/purple upper, using premium leather, suede and mesh. The shoe also includes contrasting purple stitching along with a concrete-patterned Swoosh. “Berlin 89″ is stitched onto the heel, memorializing this historic event. The Nike Sportswear Air Pegasus ‘89 “Berlin” will see a quickstrike release on December 4th in a limited edition of 510 pairs.
