A previously unseen colorway in the Air Jordan 2010 has surfaced online. This Black/Flint Grey/Varsity Red style features a black forefoot cover and tongue, flint grey on the midsole and upper paneling, and a translucent rubber outsole giving full view of the varsity red-colored Zoom Air unit underfoot. More images of the silver Air Jordan 2010 have been released. University of North Carolina players wore the colorway on court last night with special Silver Anniversary Jordan Brand uniforms. California is expected to wear the silver shoes and uniforms on tonight against Arizona, followed up by Georgetown during their next game on Saturday against Notre Dame. Dwyane Wade debuted the style in his MVP performance in this month’s NBA All-Star Game (as seen here) but with a slightly modified version that read “WADE” along the eyestay instead of “JORDAN”. The 25th incarnation of the flagship Air Jordan line officially launches at retail tomorrow. Co-Designed by Tinker Hatfield and Mark Smith, the Air Jordan 2010 initially drops in a Black/Varsity Red/White colorway with much of the attention circling around the shoe’s transparent TPU window on the upper. The shoe also features a new running-inspired cushioning implementation using a bottom-loaded, full-length Zoom Air unit. Retail is $170.
