Jordan Brand has hooked up the California Golden Bears with two special make-up Jordan Icons models to wear through NCAA tournament season. Featured are White/Blue/Gold and Black/Gold colorways, both designated with “Cal” embroidery on the lateral sides of the shoes. Continue reading for closer looks at both pairs.

While Nike Basketball is outfitting its college sponsored teams in the Nike Hyperdunk, Jordan Brand is positioning the new Jordan Icons model as its big tournament shoe. Here we take a look at a White/Navy based colorway for Georgetown University. The shoe prominently features the Hoyas’ “G” logo on the lateral sides of the shoes and will be worn by the team as they take on Marquette (who have their own special make-up “MU” Jordan Icons) in the Big East Tournament semifinals. More images in the “W3LCOME HOME” edition of the Air Jordan 2010 have surfaced. The White/Varsity Red/Black style features an alternate sockliner graphic reading “W3LCOME HOME” which was originally seen as a Wade branded marketing slogan last year when Wade made the switch from Converse to Jordan Brand. A previously unseen colorway in the Air Jordan 2010 has surfaced online. This Black/Flint Grey/Varsity Red style features a black forefoot cover and tongue, flint grey on the midsole and upper paneling, and a translucent rubber outsole giving full view of the varsity red-colored Zoom Air unit underfoot. Last week we previewed images of the Future Sole edition in the Jordan Melo M6 here designed by high schooler Austin Jermacans. After being worn in-game by Carmelo Anthony, the shoes now find its way onto the feet of the Syracuse University men’s basketball team as they enter the Big East Tournament tonight. The re-drafted Future Sole Melo M6 most prominently features a forefoot velcro strap design. Continue reading for another look at the shoes.

Here’s a look at Ray Allen’s special make-up Air Jordan V’s from previous seasons. The shoe features a black base with yellow accenting and “34″ stitched onto the lateral sides of the shoe. Jordan Brand has created two special make-up styles in the Jordan Icons model for Marquette University. The Golden Eagles were formerly outfitted by Nike and then in more recent years by Converse under the Dwyane Wade branding umbrella. At the start of the current NCAA season, Jordan Brand picked up jersey and footwear outfitting duties for Wade’s alma mater following his switch to the brand.
