New images of the Silver Anniversary edition Air Jordan XI are out. This White/Silver colorway pays tribute to 25 years of Air Jordans and most noticeably removes the embroidered Jumpman logo typically seen on the lateral sides of the shoe. The last time we heard from Brandon Jennings, he created some news with a general launch date for his yet-unreleased Under Armour basketball footwear. Playmaker Mobile caught up with the Milwaukee Bucks’ rookie again this past NBA All-Star weekend to talk about his favorite sneakers of all time and the development of his Under Armour line. As for a new statement on the official release date of UA’s basketball sneakers? “There’s no date on it right now,” Jennings says in the clip. “It’s still in the works.”

As part of the Silver Anniversary of the Air Jordan, Jordan Brand has been commemorating the past 25 years of the flagship shoe with white and silver colorways of each model in the line. Seen here is the renovated Air Jordan XI in White/Metallic Silver, which features the removal of the Jumpman logo on the rear quarter and the use of a tumbled leather upper as opposed to the smooth finished leather that we’re used to seeing on the Air Jordan XI. Another visible note seen from these images is the extensive use of an environmentally preferred interior lining that we first saw used on the Air Jordan XX3.
