Before Dwyane Wade made his sudden switch from Converse to Jordan Brand last summer, a full slate of Wade-branded Converse product was already in production. One of those models was the Wade Clutch 2, which was named after D-Wade’s late game heroics. The shoe features a full grain leather upper, inner mesh booty sleeve, and uses the same tooling and Balls Technology as the Converse Weapon Evo. Originally designated as a Dick’s Sporting Goods exclusive model, the shoes have all been de-badged of Wade logo placements, most prominently the Wade-as-Converse-Star icon on the tongue, and is currently hitting retail doors as the “Converse Dunkit”.
