The “Magic Beast” edition of the adidas TS Supernatural Commander officially made its NBA debut on the feet of Dwight Howard earlier this month when the Orlando Magic took on the Boston Celtics as covered here. Online retailer Osneaker is currently selling a limited size run of the special make-up shoes which takes color inspiration from Superman and features Chinese characters on the tongue which translate to “Magic Beast”. Following up Brandon Jennings’ Foot Locker appearance this Thursday is an autograph signing on Saturday with Dwight Howard of the Orlando Magic. Howard will make an arrival at the Foot Locker inside The Parks At Arlington Mall in Arlington, TX between 2-3PM on February 13th to help launch his new adidas TS Supernatural Commander shoe which officially releases this weekend.

Debuting on the feet of Dwight Howard next month during NBA All-Star Game will be the adidas TS Supernatural Commander. This particular model comes dressed specifically for the big game with a stylized “star” pattern upper and NBA “All-Star” 2010 badging featured on the tongue and medial side of the shoe. Underfoot is the new adidas PURE MOTION technology tooling which is inspired by the original Feet You Wear series. Counter Kicks was the first outlet to break images of the new adidas Spring 2010 product lines back in October of last year when we spotted them in an exclusive NBA 2k10 Footwear Feature. Seen recently on court by the likes of adidas-endorsees Dwight Howard and Kevin Garnett, the latest embodiment of the “Commander” series takes form in the adidas TS Supernatural Commander. The new silhouette features adiPRENE+ cushioning and ForMotion technology tooling along with a standard TORSION SYSTEM plate underfoot for added strength and stability. The adidas TS Supernatural Commander will have its national television unveiling on Christmas Day when Dwight Howard and the Orlando Magic face off against the Boston Celtics. This special make-up “Magic Beast” style is what Dwight will be wearing, colorblocked in a Red/Yellow/Blue Superman theme set against a star-lit sky background on the upper. Embroidered on the medial side of the shoe is the number “12″, and on the tongue, the Chinese characters for “Magic Beast” are inscribed.
