First time NBA All-Star Derrick Rose will be making an appearance at Foot Locker inside the Dallas Galleria Mall this weekend. Rose’s visit is scheduled for Sunday, February 14th from 12-1PM where he will sign autographs and help launch his brand new adidas TS Supernatural Creator shoe.

Under Armour athlete Brandon Jennings will be participating in the NBA Rookie Challenge Game this Friday. The day before, on February 11th, Jennings will make an appearance at the Foot Locker inside Galleria Mall in Dallas, TX from 7:30-8:30PM. While you won’t be able to purchase any Jennings-branded Under Armour shoes just yet (see: here and here), you will be able to meet and get autographs from the Milwaukee Bucks rookie.

Last month, we previewed a summer-styled colorway of the Nike Prestige High here. Today, we take a look at a Spring 2010 model draped officially in Black/Varsity Purple/Turbo Green. The shoe features a black leather and suede upper, padded collar, and Varsity Purple color hits on the Swoosh and outsole coupled with Turbo Green accenting. Early this morning, two southwest Atlanta Foot Locker’s were burglarized within a half hour of each other – one at the Campbellton Road location, and the second at Metropolitan Parkway. A group of six people smashed through the metal doors and gates at both spots by driving a van through the front entrance and stuffing shoe boxes into the vehicle and driving off. Whether the timed grab was planned in part for the taking of today’s launch in the “Space Jam” Air Jordan XI’s is unknown, but a Foot Locker employee at the Campbellton Road store has stated that the robbers did not make away with any of their allotment of “Space Jams” and that their stock was sold to waiting customers this morning. Covering 24-years worth of Air Jordans, the site serves not only as an up-to-date chronicling of the shoe, but also doubles as a unique footwear concierge of sorts as listed underneath each model are direct Foot Locker retail links to current in-line sneakers inspired by the line that you can order right off the website.
