Jordan Brand has created two special make-up styles in the Jordan Icons model for Marquette University. The Golden Eagles were formerly outfitted by Nike and then in more recent years by Converse under the Dwyane Wade branding umbrella. At the start of the current NCAA season, Jordan Brand picked up jersey and footwear outfitting duties for Wade’s alma mater following his switch to the brand. Jordan Brand has announced the unveiling of its new “Bin 23” collection which highlights Air Jordans 1-XX3. Each footwear model in the Bin 23 program will carry the stamped on Bin 23 seal, be produced in very limited quantities, and come with individual numbering on each shoe, according to Jordan Brand. The collection launches with the release of the Air Jordan 2 Retro Premio package which features premium chocolate brown leather, crocodile print overlays, and a cloth Air Jordan bag. The Air Jordan II Retro returns this spring in one its original colorways. This White/Black/Varsity Red style features the same essential colorblocking as the 1987 model but with the added red piping on the upper as seen from its last 2004 reissue. The Bruce Kilgore designed shoe was originally developed and manufactured in Italy and comes equipped with its signature faux iguana skin print overlay and accordion-styled TPU heel counter. New images have surfaced in the “Powder Blue” Air Jordan IX Retro we originally previewed here last week. The shoe’s colorblocking stays essentially true to the original aside from the black stitched “23″ on the heel, where the original featured white threading. More info to come as it develops. Jordan Accolades is a new footwear model with legacy aspirations from old Air Jordan models. The shoe features a very basic upper design stacked on top of Air Jordan X tooling. This White/Black/Cement colorway features a perforated upper and elephant print covering the eyestay and heel. A Black/White style is also on schedule along with a White-based model with a fully lasered upper print featuring seminal Jordan Brand symbols as originally seen on the Air Jordan XX. Retail price is $125.

A new colorway in the Jordan Spiz’ike drops this spring. The Cement/Black/New Blue/Infrared shoe features patent leather and nubuck on the upper, elephant print overlays, and a partially translucent outsole. Official release date is May 8th. A brief preview of the Air Jordan 1 KO in White/Red has surfaced online. The shoe features an all white canvas upper with red accenting on the Swoosh, Air Jordan Wings logo, and outsole. Also present is the same faux vintage look as seen on the upcoming White/Black/Varsity Red AJKO with yellow stained midsoles and chalky white covered outsoles. Retail is $125.

Jordan Brand has created special make-up versions of the new Jordan Icons model recently for high school teams such as Oak Hill Academy and the St. Patrick Celtics. For the month of March, the North Carolina Tar Heels will be sporting this White/Carolina Blue based version of the Icons complete with the “UNC” logo stitched onto the lateral sides of the shoes.
