On Wednesday night at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Kobe Bryant hit a fadeaway jumpshot to lead the Lakers to a 107-106 last-second overtime win over the Bucks. Appropriately enough, Kobe was wearing the Gradient Fade “Away” version of his Nike Zoom Kobe IV signature shoe. Coming off what seems like an endless parade of styles in the Nike Zoom Kobe IV, we now preview 4 more new colorways in the Nike Zoom Kobe V. The shoes this season feature a complete Zoom Air setup at both the heel and forefoot, rather than last year’s Zoom Air/Lunar Foam arrangement. Expect another procession of ZKV colorways coming soon. Releasing this Sunday November 1st at House of Hoops locations is the “4 Rings” colorway of the Nike Zoom Kobe IV. The shoe features a purple to yellow gradient upper, and a 4-Rings Muppet graphic on the back tongue and ring graphics on the footbed – both of which are references to the Nike “MVPuppets” ad campaign that aired earlier this year during the NBA Playoffs.
