Nike Zoom Kobe V colorways keep rolling in with the latest arrival in a Black/Deep Forest/Varsity Maize. While the black and maize choices have been seen on this shoe before, the Deep Forest highlights on the upper and Swoosh bring something new to the table. The much discussed Kobe Bryant x Aston Martin pack which we previewed last week here is now fully revealed. Nike Basketball has created a limited edition 2-Pack “Aston Martin” collaboration featuring the Nike Hyperdunk and the Nike Zoom Kobe V. The special bundle commemorates the viral video from 2008 of Kobe jumping over a speeding Aston Martin in a pair of then yet to be released Hyperdunk’s. Phrases and imagery from the ad clip are featured on the shoes and box such as: “I TOLD YOU”, “I GOT THIS”, “THATS HOW”, “YOU DO IT”, along with a knee-bent silhouette of Kobe taken right before he performs the automobile jump over. The Aston Martin Wings logo is prominent throughout. Tentative release date and pricing which we’re hearing so far is August 3, 2010 with a $300 price tag for the box set, all subject to change. Following up the “Draft Day” model of the Zoom Kobe IV last year is a similarly styled Nike Zoom Kobe V this year. Created in the color scheme of the former Charlotte Hornets which originally drafted Kobe Bryant out of high school, the shoe features a mostly white body upper with Orion Blue highlights and Varsity Purple accenting. The official colorway is White/Orion Blue/Varsity Purple/Black and the model officially releases in May. The All-Star edition of the Nike Zoom Kobe V is currently available now for purchase at Eastbay and at House of Hoops locations. The official colorway is Daring Red/Black/White and features a Texas-inspired wood grain pattern with reflective 3M overlays on the upper. Retail is $129.99 and quantities are limited.
