In the culmination of a year long effort in planning the Pump 20 Anniversary, Reebok celebrated in a classy, low key style at Pop Burger located in NYC’s trendy Meatpacking district. The venue was Pump’d out with Pump20 signage displayed prominently throughout, enlarged, vintage Reebok advertisments gracing the walls and Pump collaborations displayed in cases.
Highlights of the event included Pump inventor Paul Litchfield introducing the film “History of the Reebok Pump” and appearances by NFL Legend Emmitt Smith and the NBA’s “Human Highlight Film” Dominique Wilkins. Both players endorsed Reebok heavily during their playing days with Emmitt’s marquee shoes being the Reebok Pay Dirt & Scrimmage Mid and Nique’s the Reebok Pump OG and the Twilight Zone Pump.
